Seasonal Autumn ForestAbout Seasonal Autumn Forest
An independent website about trees, leaves and enjoying the forest in autumn.
What we do
We publish free articles about the science and pleasures of autumn: why leaves change color, how to identify common trees, how to preserve leaves, and how to plan safe walks. We also offer a free email resource, the Autumn Leaf Field Guide.
Who runs this site
Seasonal Autumn Forest is an independent site. Articles are signed with the pen name Martin Ashby. You can reach us any time at contactseasonalautumnforest.com.
What we don't do
We don't sell products, tours or paid courses, and we don't accept payment for recommendations.
How we write
Our content is based on widely accepted information from sources such as university extension services, national forest and park agencies, and botanical gardens. Trees vary by region, so we encourage readers to check local guides too.
Your email is safe with us
If you request the field guide, we use your details only to send it and occasional seasonal tips. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
